The big one is Spilosoma canescens aka Ardices canescens, a large Arctiid moth of variable pattern, that eats Cobblers Pegs, Sunflowers, Dandelion , Hollyhocks, Plantains, Castor Oil plants, and Roses. No shortage of snacks around here, then.
For the last few days a half dozen or so have been turning up under the floodlight at the Spud Shed, Baldivis.
